DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT (15 MILES ? 30 MINUTES) AS YOU EXIT THE AIRPORT YOU WILL BE ON AHUKINI ROAD. YOU WILL CONTINUE STRAIGHT THRUGH THE TRAFFIC LIGHT FOR ABOUT A MILE UNTIL YOU REACH THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 56, WHERE YOU ARE FORCED TO TURN EITHER RIGHT OR LEFT. YOU WILL TURN LEFT ONTO HIGHWAY 56 WEST WHICH WILL AUTOMATICALLY MERGE ITSELF INTO HIGHWAY 50 WEST. YOU WILL CONTINUE ON HIGHWAY 50 AS IT LEAVES LIHUE TOWARD THE POIPU AREA. APPROXIMATELY TWELVE MILES DOWN THE ROAD YOU WILL SEE A SIGN INDICATING TO TURN LEFT TO KOLOA OR POIPU AREA. WHEN YOU TURN LEFT YOU WILL BE ON HIGHWAY 520, WHICH IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE TREE TUNNEL, WHICH LEADS TO KOLOA TOWN AND, FURTHER DOWN, THE POIPU AREA. AS YOU ENTER OLD KOLOA TOWN YOU WILL TURN RIGHT ONTO KOLOA ROAD. LESS THEN A BLOCK LATER AT THE SERVICE STATION, YOU WILL TURN LEFT ON TO POIPU ROAD. YOU WILL FOLLOW POIPU ROAD ABOUT 2 MILES WHERE YOU WILL REACH THE FIRST OF TWO ENTRANCES TO KIAHUNA PLANTATION. BYPASS THE FIRST OR WEST ENTRANCE AND PROCEED TO THE SECOND OR EAST ENTRANCE TURNING RIGHT TO ENTER. AS YOU COME TO A STOP SIGN, TURN RIGHT THEN A QUICK LEFT AND PROCEED DOWN THE HILL. THE CASTLE KIAHUNA PLANTATION RECEPTION CENTER WILL BE ON YOUR RIGHT.
